PHYSICS Here you will be seeing a paper on Physics for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). Physics is studied in both the ordinary and advanced level classes, that is, from Forms one through upper sixth. It is observed as an arts subject in both situations. The form and subject code differ at both levels. IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: Physics is accounting and bears the code 0580. Hence, Physics-580. It comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of structural and/or free response questions (FRO). IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: Physics maintains the name as well but changes code and is thus referred to as Physics-780. It is divided into 3 papers where Papers 1 and 2 have similar structure with that of the ordinary level but paper 3 here is a practical examination undertaken in a scientific laboratory.
