Here you will be seeing a paper on Literature in English for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). Literature in English is studied only at the ordinary levels, that is, from Forms one through upper sixth. It is studied by only arts students at both levels. IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: Literature in English remains so called and bears the code 0535. Hence, Literature-in-English-530 (Literature-535). It comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of a series of well structured Free Response Questions (FRQ). IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: Literature in English bears the same title and is studied by arts students only. It takes the code 0735 and is thus called Literature in English 730.
