HISTORY Here you will be seeing a paper on History for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). History is studied only at the ordinary levels, that is, from Forms one through upper sixth. It is studied by only arts students at both levels. IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: History remains so called and bears the code 0535. Hence, History-560 (History-560). It comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of a series of well-structured Free Response Questions (FRQ) separated into Cameroon history, African history and World history. IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: History bears the same title and is studied by arts students only. It takes the code 0760 and is thus called History 760. It comprises of three papers (Paper 1, 2 and 3) all written with paper 1 being MCQ. We wish you good luck as you use this paper for your revision.
