FRENCH Here you will be seeing a paper on French for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). French is studied only at the ordinary levels, that is, from Forms one through upper sixth. It is studied by both arts and science of the ordinary level but is classified an arts subject by the second cycle (High School). IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: French remains so called and bears the code 0545. Hence, French-545 (French-535). It comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of a series of well-structured Free Response Questions (FRQ). IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: French bears the same title and is studied by arts students only. It takes the code 0745 and is thus called French 745.
