COMPUTER SCIENCE Here you will be seeing a paper on Computer Science for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). Computer Science is studied only at the ordinary levels, that is, from Forms one through upper sixth. It is studied by both arts and science of both the advanced and ordinary levels. IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: Computer Science remains so called and bears the code 0595. Hence, Computer-Science-595 (CSC-595). It comprises of three papers, Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of a series of well-structured Free Response Questions (FRQ) and Paper 3 is practicals executed in a computer laboratory. IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: Computer Science is studied in two forms. The Computer Science form and the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) form. There is no clear cut on which is to be studied by artist and scientist but both departments study these two. The structure of the papers are closely similar to each other and also to their ordinary level source. The subject codes are respectively 795 and 796.
