ADDITIONAL MATHEMATICS Here you will be seeing a paper on Additional Mathematics for the Cameroon General certificate of Education (CGCE). Additional Mathematics is studied only at the ordinary levels, that is, from Forms four through Forms five. It is studied by only Science students of the level. IN THE ORDINARY LEVEL: Additional Mathematics remains so called and bears the code 0575. Hence, Additional-Mathematics -575 (Add. Maths-575). It comprises of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper one is purely of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) while paper 2 comprises of a series of well-structured Free Response Questions (FRQ) divided into section A, B and C. Section A concerns itself with the an advanced study of the concepts in Pure mathematics (Maths-570). Sections B and C are for specialisations in either mechanics or statistics and probability respectively. IN THE ADVANCED LEVEL: Additional Mathematics is not studied in Cameroon Schools at this level as of the time of 2023. It is joint unto Mathematics-770 and Mathematics-765.
