Ecology is the branch of Biology that studies all living organisms in relation to their environment. 

Ecology can thence be seen as the branch of biology that unites the studies made in biology. It also has a direct link with geography.

Endocrinology is that branch of biology that is concerned with the structure, disposition and functioning of endocrine cells and glands. Endocrine glands are those glands that are produce hormones in a living organism. These hormones are poured directly into blood without passing through ducts.

On an etymological percepective, endocrinology will be the science (logy) of endocrine tissues and cells.

Genetics is the study of heredity and variation. It is therefore interested in what is inherited and how it's inherited. It also studies the differences observed between offspring of the same species.

Geography is the study of the earth and it's features, the distribution of life on earth it's relationship with man.

Etymologically, geography can be seen as "geo" for earth and "graphy" for mapping. It is this the study of how life 'shapes' the earth.

Geology is the study of the origin, history and structure of the earth.

By etymology, we can divide the word geology into "geo" for earth and "logy" for science. Geology is hence the science of the earth. With this it is tempting to say, geography is merely a fraction of geology.

This is a situation whereby both alleles for a particular trait in a given organism are  NOT identical. That is either Aa for situation of dominance or AB for a situation of codominance.

These are aggregates of chemicals within the cell that are either produced by the cell or taken in by the cell.

Examples include: lipid droplets, glycogen granules, haemoglobin etc.

Inertia is the reluctance a body has to change its state of motion. In simple, it prevents a moving object from stopping and a resting object from starting any form of motion. It is a function of the objecs size and nature (shape)

A law in science is a verifiable fact. A statement or idea that has not only been proven but can be redone to get the same results.

In a legal system, a law is a defined principle that should not be broken and if broken will incure punishments according to written and approved texts.

These are things that are able to show the characteristics of life which include movement, respiration, growth, reproduction, excretion, excitability (irritability) and nutrition.
