Endocrinology Definition

Endocrinology is that branch of biology that is concerned with the structure, disposition and functioning of endocrine cells and glands. Endocrine glands are those glands that are produce hormones in a living organism. These hormones are poured directly into blood without passing through ducts.

On an etymological percepective, endocrinology will be the science (logy) of endocrine tissues and cells.
